
Bacteriological helmet
For Museum Night Fever 2009, My art school “La Cambre” was invited to reinterpret medieval artifacts from the BELvue Museum (Palais du Coudenberg).
I chose to modernize the knight’s helmet, transforming it into a bacteriological war helmet, foreseeing a future where biological warfare could surpass traditional violence.
A decade before COVID-19, the piece speculated on the invisible threats of modern warfare—blurring the line between historical protection and contemporary vulnerability.
